2. Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics I: Professional qualifications in Law, Pharmacy, Accountancy, Engineering e.t.c
3. Deputy Superintendent of Narcotics: Medical Doctors, Architects or professional qualifications in any discipline with minimum of 5 years cognate working experience

Entry Qualifications:

1. Chief Narcotic Agent: minimum of Higher National Diploma
2. Senior Narcotic Agent: OND, NCE, Nursing e.t.c
3. Narcotic Agent: SSCE, NECO with 4 Credits in one sitting or 5 credits in two sittings 5 Credits in not more than one sitting with credit in Mathematics and English Language.
   

CATEGORY C

NARCOTIC ASSISTANT CADRE

1. NASS I CONPASS 04
2. NASS II CONPASS 03
3. NASS III CONPASS 02
   

Entry Qualifications:

1. NASS I: SSCE, NECO with 3 Credits
2. NASS II: SSCE, NECO with 2 Credits
3. NASS III: Evidence of having attended secondary school
